For the double page analysis i have used pages from the magazine 'NME'. These pages' show alot of information. It has one big picture of the band that they have featured in the magazine. The main body of text is an interview, about the band telling all the readers who they are and what they are about. There is a total of 5 images on the page; 1 big one and 4 smaller ones. The main image is of the band, It is definatly eye catching and the first thing you look at on the page. They are all laying on a bed, showing they are relaxed, easy going people. This is a good effect to have on the readers as it makes you want to get to know them. The picture takes up a whole page, and only has a few boxes of text ontop of it. The top left corner of the picture is text 'RADAR' to introduce the page, maybe it is a feature used in the magazine. The text in the bottom left corner is titled 'NEED TO KNOW' telling us a few facts about the band in bold, Sans serif fonts. The colours throughout the double page is kept limited. Black white and blue for the text only. The title of the pages 'THE TEENAGERS'; Bold, capital letters, black writing in a blue box. It is kept simple and does what it is supposed to. The text on the white background is the interview with the band, starting off the interview with a subtitle 'Young, dumb and full of... filthy tunes'. It's an odd start to the writing but makes you want to read on, wondering what they mean by it. There is a small image next to the start of the writing. This is of someone in the band, Maybe the person they interviewed. Half way down the text it is cut off with a quote from part of the interview, making you want to read it more, wondering what they mean. At the bottom of the interview is the NME website logo, advertising the magazine more. On the other half of the second page is a different section of the magazine. Titled 'Everyones talking about...' and going on to tell us more about new bands on the scene. There are 2 thumbnails down the side, of each band mentioned. With a small bit of text and a title. The background here is black and the font is white, cutting itself off from the teenagers feature. Making it easier to show you that it's not part of the same topic. At the bottom on the right is another thumbnail titled 'my favourite new band by Alex Turner' this must be one of the editors for the magazine showing his personal views towards new bands and telling the reader this so they will feel more connected to the editors and know them more.
